About the Prints

The prints at Frame of Mind have been made to meet popular archival standards.

The silver gelatin black and white images are printed on fiber based paper. Images that are printed on these papers and then sepia toned or selenium toned normally remain unchanged for fifty or even a hundred years.

Digital images and conventional colour images have been printed on Fuji Crystal Archive paper. Prints that are made on this paper are known to have longevity and long term dye stability. This paper demonstrates resistance both to colour fading.

The right choice of papers and techniques employed in producing the prints will ensure a long life for the prints, provided that the prints are stored and displayed in indoor conditions away from direct sunlight and exposure to excessive moisture.
